My new puppy!!!

So last Friday we got in the car and headed to Salida, CO to go pick up my new puppy. I was so excited and couldn't wait to hold her in my arms for the first time! We were greeted by the adorable face of an 8 week old, Australian Shepherd. The whole ride home was filled with the question, "What should we name her?" As we stopped for a potty break my dad blurted out the name Sadie, and it stuck!

Sadie is a precious little girl. She loves all the animals including our Border Collie Dusty, who could care less when we brought her home. But now this little fur ball is getting more comfortable with her an seems to be saying, "Get off your bed! You old dog."  We hear little puppy barks from the garage when she is trying to get her to play. But she really is a good puppy! She also loves people, and never sees a stranger.

She had a rough couple of nights, whining and barking all night long, but for the first time last night she didn't say a word!
